14 December 2012The European Mink on NavarraTV.
21 February 2013During this first trimester, we are giving an important boost to the Occupational Training support program. The idea is to take advantage of all the experience and knowledge gained from the "Mink Territory” project in order to complement the training in qualifications related to the monitoring and control of the natural environment and to the development of activities for public use, specifically intermediate level specialities ("Guiding physical-sporting activities in the natural environment" and "Forestry work and the conservation of the natural environment") and higher level specialities ("Development of physical-sporting activities in the natural environment" and "Forest and natural environment management").
With this aim in mind, we are planning joint actions with the Training centres at Lumbier (Sierra de Leyre), Tudela (Centro Integrado Politécnico) and Pamplona (Centro Integrado Agroforestal). At this latter centre, on Monday 28th January, an awareness-raising session was held, attended by around 60 young people, studying agriculture. In the course of this trimester, further activities are being organised at this centre including a visit to SotoBajo and to the Information Point, planned for 5th March next. The Information Point is also designing a program to allow the students of these training centres to carry out their work experience in the Mink Territory.
